Tuesday 27th October 2009 Over 70 of HR’s biggest brains came together on Tuesday 27th October at The Royal Garden Hotel for HR in Hospitality’s first quiz night under our new moniker – and what a fantastic night it was! The Royal Garden team proved exceptional hosts, providing ample sustenance to keep our grey matter ticking over and thanks go to Paula King and all the staff at the hotel for their kind efforts on our behalf. Tim Browne, our resident quiz master, posed the questions around a Best of British theme, with a few HR puzzlers in there too for good measure. Results were mixed overall, with a couple of teams scoring in the 90s, but the triumphant victors were ….the team from Profile and Emma (Jayne!) who walked away with a lovely bottle of fizz and the title of the 2009 HRH Quiz winners!Congratulations to them, and thanks to everyone who came along to the event for helping to make it such a fun and enjoyable night.
